A study on level of adversity quotient of adolescents across age and gender

Adversity Quotient (AQ) is one of the probable indicators a person’s success in life. It useful to predict attitude, mental stress, perseverance, longevity, learning, and response changes environment. An AQ measures ability person deal with adversities his or her This study assess level adolescents Lucknow city. The was conducted among 150 (10–19 years), out which 79 were boys 71 girls. Response Profile by Paul Stoltz (2001) used respondents. Result reveals that significant proportion (42.0%) has low AQ. At same time, only 2% them fall under high level. Further probing, data reveal that, 10–14 years age group, (47.1%) respondents falls 2.3% have above average 15–19 major (39.8%) at AQ, 2.7% across gender showed (43.6%) girls 1.4% Similarly, (40.5%) 2.5%
